Since then, Dr Shakib, who for the first time in the Iranian press, founded the “sexual health” page in Salamat weekly, was honored to get mastered at the Family Health Clinic in Shahed University, Tehran, Iran, in the supervising of Dr Seyyed Kazem Forootan, the professor of Urology and Sexual Medicine. And then he strated clinical work in sex therapy, that has still not recognized in Iran.
Need of people, who knew almost nothing about sex and their physical and mental health was threatened from this ignorance and poverty of knowledge, and sometimes their family foundations are collapsing, and on the other hand, prejudice and narrow-mindedness in the field of sex therapy and sexual health education, led Dr shakib, returned to practice and preferred sexual health to health journalism. Since then, most of his time is devoted to the study and writing and clinical practice in this field.
